The HKSAR Government announced the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Development Blueprint last year to further guide Hong Kong to become an international I&T centre. Promoting I&T culture for all and enhance the overall I&T atmosphere in the community are of most crucial to build a more solid foundation to make this vision into reality.
To engage our youth at an early stage with technology and its application and foster the I&T atmosphere, InnoEX, organised by HKSAR Government and Hong Kong Trade Development Council, cordially invite our students to visit InnoEX 2023.
Features of InnoEX:
- the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) will set up the “Smart Hong Kong Pavilion” with various government departments at InnoEx 2023 to showcase the smart city solutions adopted in nowadays society – from Smart Identity Card, public utilities such as water supply and monitor of water quality, smart mobility system etc. Visitors can learn more about the smart city applications from seeing. and hearing from the presenters.
- The "Smart Hong Kong Pavilion" which is themed "Smarter ・ Hong Kong", will focus on six areas: “Smart Living”, “Smart Mobility”, “Smart Environment”, “Smart People”, “Smart Government” and “Smart Economy”, featuring more than 100 innovative solutions for driving the smart city development in Hong Kong, including over 40 technology solutions adopted by government departments and over 60 winning exhibits from local innovators.
- Apart from showcasing the innovative achievements delivered by various government departments, there will be a series of winning entries in public competitions including the Hong Kong ICT Awards, the “Maker in China” SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Global Contest - Hong Kong Chapter and the Open Data Hackathon, with a view to recognising the innovative ideas and achievements of local innovators and encouraging the industry to develop more innovative solutions.
